Tom McDonough
Author, Publisher, Real Estate Developer
Shortly after the fall of communism, Tom moved to Czechoslovakia to develop real estate. In eight years he restored eight historically protected buildings in Prague's historic core and another $4 million in new construction.
Along the way, he played a very small part in the restoration of Catholicism in Prague through the establishment of Univerzitní centrum Na Baště and the Pravnicky Kulaty Stul (Round Table for Law Students), preparing a new generation of Czechs as knowledgeable in their Catholic faith as in their profession.
Tom, also, recently completed a new book, "An Eye for Others" highlighting Dorothy Day's first job in journalism.
